JOT: Just One Thing (“JOT,” the “App”) is owned and operated by Seven Six Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. We can’t — the App has no servers and no accounts.
None. The App does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, diagnostics, identifiers, or telemetry of any kind. We do not use cookies, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics or advertising services. We never see your tasks, your pillars, or anything else you enter into the App.
Everything you create in the App (daily tasks, pillars, backlog items, settings) is stored:
That cloud copy is stored in your personal Apple or Google account under your control. It is transmitted directly between your device and Apple or Google; it never passes through, and is never accessible to, Seven Six Labs LLC. Your use of iCloud or Google Drive is governed by Apple’s or Google’s own terms and privacy policies, not ours.
Deleting the App from your device deletes its local data. Data synced to your iCloud or Google Drive can be removed through your Apple or Google account.
Reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device (“local notifications”). No notification content or scheduling information is sent to us or to any third party. You can disable notifications at any time in the App’s settings or your device’s system settings.
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data, no parental consent mechanisms are required under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws.
Privacy laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights over personal data that companies hold about you. Seven Six Labs LLC holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, port, or stop selling. If you contact us to exercise such rights, we will confirm this in writing.
If a future version of the App changes how data is handled (for example, an optional account-based sync service), we will update this Privacy Policy, update the effective date above, and — where required by law or by app store policy — notify you within the App before the change applies to you.
